Meet The Cookies
Every Cookie Has a Mission : To Help Girls Do Great Things

Are you ready? I'm so ready. I wait patiently every year for this time of year when little green Girl Scouts scout out the Safeway and Walmart of the world waving bright miniature boxes of delicious and tasty morsels in your face.. and I cave every single time! Even after ordering my boxes ahead of time. What can I say, I've got the sweets for sweets, especially these treats! My usual? Caramel deLites and Peanut Butter Sandwiches. But this year, the Girl Scouts are introducing a new cookie! Meet-- Thank U Berry Munch-- real premium cranberry filled cookies sweetened with creamy, white fudge chips! Does that sound mouthwatering or what?! So hurry and place your orders today. I did! Can't wait 'til February 20th.
My Buried Life
the list.

While channel surfing, I stumbled upon MTV's 'The Buried Life'-- a reality series of four friends embarking on a journey of a lifetime all the while checking off their bucket list of 100- things to do before they die.. and it made me realized I have my own bucket list put on hold and is just wasting away.. unchecked. Time to see if I still have the same ideas on life and, more importantly, time to start living it!
And what do you know.. I managed to check 4- things off my list during my Mediterranean vacation getaway back in October 2009:
#25- see the Pyramids of Egypt and go into/ under a tomb
#31- take a cruise anywhere
#49- ride a camel
#63- bargaining at the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul
I am currently attempting to check off #29- learn to knit or crochet.

And with great hopes, tackle the following this year:
#27- have beignets in New Orleans
#34- pay it forward; pay for someone's grocery or lunch
#43- shuck an oyster
#51- trek the Amazon
#58- see Iguazu Falls
Love to know what's on your list!

One Month Challenge for the Best Complexion
People Style Watch magazine dedicated an entire 5- page spread in its February issue to help you and I get the best complexion with its "5 SKIN Resolutions" back- to- basics tips!
I am always curious to see what are the latest remedies celebs are using these days to maintain their Hollywood glow. From Reese to Halle to Rihanna, we're (at least I am) dying to know.. what's their secret? Surprisingly, most products are things that you and I can get right in our very own local drugstore! So.. I decided to lend my face to the cause for an at- home, one- month, clinical trial to some of the suggested products. Reason being? One, if not for the sake of my face, than at least my wallet. Since being unemployed, I had to downgrade on a few things-- my $54 Clarins' moisturizer being one. I am sure I'm not alone. What I love most about this spread is that the recommendations are suitable for every budget.
